Over 100 CD recordings bear witness to Sibylla Rubens's skill, not only as an outstanding interpreter of Bach but also with recordings extending well into the Romantic repertoire.

Collaborations with international orchestras, Baroque ensembles and conductors such as Ton Koopman, Philipp Herreweghe, Helmuth Rilling, Rudolf Lutz, Sir Roger Norrington, Riccardo Chailly, Michael Gielen, Christian Thielemann, Kent Nagano, Enoch zu Guttenberg and many more have taken Sibylla Rubens to international concert halls and festivals. Recitals and chamber music are particularly close to her heart.

He also gained crucial inspiration from masterclasses with Ralf Gothóni, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and others. He has received several prizes and scholarships, including at the German Music Competition. Henning Lucius teaches at the Lübeck University of Music, the Rostock University of Music and Performing Arts and the Hamburg Conservatory, as well as serving as a visiting lecturer abroad. For some time he also taught at the University of the Arts in Bremen.

He has accompanied masterclasses in singing and has performed as a sought-after Lied accompanist and chamber musician at various festivals.

For several years Henning Lucius shaped the Appen Classics concert series as its artistic director.
